The planet was identified using the radial velocity method by John Asher Johnson et al. discovered in 2002 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.54 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.23 and has a mass of approx. 921.9 Earth masses or 2.9 Jupiter masses.
