HD 187085 b

HD 187085 b is an exoplanet that accompanies the yellow dwarf HD 187085 . Based on its estimated minimum mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The exoplanet was discovered during the Anglo-Australian Planet Search using the radial velocity method. His discovery was published in 2006.

Circulation and mass

The orbital period of the companion is about 1100  days . Its minimum mass is just under the mass of Jupiter, the major semi-axis of its orbit is estimated at approx. 2.1 astronomical units .
