discovery
The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Paul Butler et al. discovered on September 9, 1998.
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.0426 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.02 and has a mass of approx. 167.9 Earth masses or 0.528 Jupiter masses.
