HD 188015 b

HD 188015 b is an exoplanet orbiting the yellow subgiant HD 188015 every 461.2 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was captured using the radial velocity method by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2005 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 1.2 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of approx. 1.5 Jupiter masses (approx. 480  earth masses ).
