HD 41004 Ab is an exoplanet that orbits the main sequence star HD 41004 A every 963 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was determined using the radial velocity method of S. Zucker et al. discovered in 2004 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 1.7 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 74 percent and has a mass of about 813.8 earth masses or 2.56 Jupiter masses.
