HD 8574 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 8574 every 225 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by C. Perrier et al. discovered in 2001 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.759 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 623.1 Earth masses or 1.96 Jupiter masses.
