The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Paul Butler et al. discovered in 2006 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 1.1 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 9% and has a mass of approx. 159.6 Earth masses or 0.502 Jupiter masses.
