The HEICO Group, the HEICO group of companies, is a service conglomerate with headquarters in Wiesbaden , which is currently active with 35 branches nationwide and 1,300 employees in the areas of real estate, aviation and personnel.

history

The origins of the corporate group go back to 1966, when the Heidenreich family founded the Heidenreich & Co. room and office maintenance institute in Wiesbaden Hochheim and operated it successfully for over twenty years. In 1987 Dirk-R took over the management. Ebeling, who pushed the expansion and diversification of the business fields beyond the core business of building cleaning. In the following years, HEICO developed into a service conglomerate that set high quality standards early on. In 1994 the company was the first building cleaning company in Germany to receive certification for its quality management according to ISO 9002 . In 1990 the company was renamed, so Heidenreich & Co. was renamed HEICO and also registered as a brand.

Diversification

In 1997, the aircraft cleaning division was spun off from building cleaning into an independent GmbH. In the early years, the VIP business included a. the planes of the Sultan of Brunei and the jets of the royal family of Qatar. In 2000, HEICO expanded the aviation area to include aviation technology and HEICO acquired EASA Part 145 approval ( European Aviation Safety Agency ) as a technical aviation company. A short time later, Ryanair becomes the first customer in line maintenance. In 2005, HEICO, together with its partner Losch, took over passenger and aircraft handling at Weeze Airport in North Rhine-Westphalia. HEICO develops a maintenance company for commercial aircraft from the Hahn Airport facility, HAITEC Heico Aviation & Technologie AG. C-checks are carried out on Boeing 747 and B757 aircraft in the 6,000 square meter maintenance hangar . In 2010 the operation is sold to an airline.

With the establishment of further subsidiaries in 2001 (HEICO Property Partners GmbH), HEICO completes the range of services for real estate in commercial and technical facility management .

After investing in a personnel service provider since 2001, HEICO founded Primajob AG in 2007 to supplement the existing service portfolio, which was renamed PRIMAJOB GmbH in 2013.

HEICO Motorsport

From 1986 to 2014 HEICO was also involved in motorsport. In the beginning, the focus was on historical racing, but in the early 1990s there was an additional boost in racing service for modern racing cars of the Porsche and BMW brands . In 1995, HEICO Motorsport developed two Volvo 850 Turbo Group A as Heico Sportiv on behalf of Volvo Germany, thus initiating Volvo's return to long-distance motorsport. Heico Sportiv has been developing the motorsport program on its own since 1998. From 2010 to 2012 HEICO was also successful in the gullwing Mercedes SLS .
