The HK Lido Nafta Riga was a Latvian ice hockey club from Riga , who between 1996 and 2001 at the Latvian Hockey League took part.

history

From 1994 the club took part in the second Latvian ice hockey league and became champions of this division in the 1995/96 season. So he rose to the first Latvian league. In the following years he took part in the Latvian ice hockey league and reached the second place in the championship three times, in 1998, 1999 and 2000. In the last year of existence, the team reached third place.

For the entire time the club was in existence, Sergejs Povečerovskis played for the first team and was the top scorer of the Latvian ice hockey league in 1998/99, 1999/2000 and 2000/01.
