HMS Juno
HMS Juno is the name of the following British ships named after the Roman goddess Juno :
- HMS Juno (1757) , a 5th class ship with 32 guns, launched in 1757 andburnedoff Rhode Island in 1778to prevent its conquest.
- HMS Juno (1780) , a 5th class warship with 32 guns, launched in 1780 and scrapped in 1811.
- HMS Juno (1844) , 6th class ship with 26 guns, launched in 1844. She was renamed HMS Mariner in1878andconvertedinto a training ship later that year as HMS Atalanta . In 1880 it sank in the Atlantic.
- HMS Juno (1867) , a wooden sloop with screw drive , which in 1867 ran from stack and was sold 1887th
- HMS Juno (1895) , a protected cruiser of the Eclipse-class , which was launched in 1895 and was scrapped in the 1920s.
- HMS Juno (F46) , a destroyer of the J-Class , which was launched in 1938 and was sunk 1,941th
- HMS Juno (F52) , a Leander- class frigate thatwas launched in 1965 and scrapped in 1994.
