The HNA-Regiowiki , also called Kassellexikon , is a Regiowiki running under a free license for the greater Kassel area or, in the broader sense, North Hesse and South Lower Saxony. The wiki was founded on January 2, 2006 after a large "article donation" from the Hessisch / Niedersächsische Allgemeine Zeitung (HNA) , which is still the carrier and operator to this day.

With 1,350 registered users, over 14,000 articles (including 11,000 pictures, tables, etc.) and around 50 million page views in total, the HNA-Regiowiki is among the three largest Regiowiki in Germany in the Regiowiki ranking of the Passauer Neue Presse . (As of June 30, 2013)

Cooperation

Anyone can work after opening a user account , but " due to massive, repeated spam attacks [...] new registrations are temporarily blocked ". This means that new employees need to register personally with the operator. Old authors can write articles as usual.

Differentiation from KasselWiki

KasselWiki is a wiki conceptually devoted to historical, in particular cultural-historical aspects of Kassel and its immediate surroundings.
