Windows Phone 7 was released in October 2010 and shipped to the first manufacturers. The HTC 7 Mozart was available from November 3, 2010 from Telekom Deutschland .

The HTC 7 Mozart has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen and a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon System-on-a-Chip with a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 single-core processor. Microsoft Windows Phone 7 is used as the operating system . An 8-megapixel camera with xenon flash is built into the smartphone and can record videos at 720p (HD). The Mozart's NAND flash memory is 8 or 16 GB; the main memory (RAM) is 576 Mbytes. The 7 Mozart communicates wirelessly via GPRS , EDGE , UMTS , Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS . It has an accelerometer , an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor and a digital compass. According to the manufacturer, a fully charged battery lasts up to 320 minutes in talk time and up to 320 hours in standby time. The dimensions of 7 Mozart are 119 mm × 60.2 mm × 11.9 mm and it weighs 130 g.
