Jonas Stolz (* 1995 ) is a German grass skier . He first took part in World Cup races in the 2010 season.
Career
Jonas Stolz has been competing in the Germany Cup since 2006 and was second overall in the school class in 2009 and 2010. Since 2010 he has also participated in international competitions. In FIS races he was able to place in the top 20 right from the start, which he also achieved at his first World Cup starts in July 2010 in Goldingen , Switzerland . There he reached 20th place in the giant slalom and 19th place in the super combined, which brought him to 51st place in the overall World Cup for the 2010 season . His only World Cup start in the 2011 season was the slalom of Předklášteří on August 7th. There he again achieved a top 20 result with 18th place. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Goldingen he finished 14th in the giant slalom and 22nd in the Super-G, while he was eliminated in the slalom and thus also in the combination. He also took part in the slalom of the World Championship in the general class, which was taking place at the same time , but also failed in the first round.
In 2012, Stolz achieved top 10 results in FIS races for the first time, with eighth place in the Super Combined from Urnäsch being his best result. He did not take part in World Cup races this season. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Burbach , he achieved eleventh place in slalom, while in the other disciplines he was just under the fastest 20. In 2012 he reached third place in the overall ranking of the German Cup.
