2011 Grass Ski World Championship
The 17th Grasski World Championship took place from August 30th to September 4th 2011 at Atzmännig in the municipality of Goldingen in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . The championship began with the opening ceremony on Tuesday, August 30th. The Super-G , Slalom , Super-Combined and Giant Slalom competitions were held from Wednesday to Sunday. At the same time, the Junior World Championship was held in Goldingen .

All competitions were held on the Kohlrüti grass ski slope (coordinates: 47 ° 17 ′ 2 ″ north, 8 ° 59 ′ 58 ″ east ). The slope has an average gradient of around 26%, the minimum gradient is 6.7% and the maximum gradient in the start area of the Super-G is 43.3%. The competition leader of all races was the Swiss Reto Blöchlinger, technical delegate of the FIS the German Hendrik Kuhn.
