Yoshiyuki Tanaka ( Japanese 田中 善 之 ), Tanaka Yoshiyuki ; * February 15, 1991 in Hidaka (today: Hidaka-Kurisuno, Toyooka ) is a Japanese grass skier . He mainly drives FIS races in his home country, took part in three junior world championships and in 2011 for the first time in a world championship in the general class. In World Cup races that are predominantly held in Europe, he has not started.
Career
Yoshiyuki Tanaka comes from Hidaka (since 2005 part of Toyooka ) and studies at Kansai University .
After his first participation in FIS races in Japan, Tanaka started in July / August 2009 at the Junior World Championships in Horní Lhota u Ostravy in the Czech Republic , where he placed in the midfield three times with results around 20th place. After further starts at FIS races in his home country, he also took part in the 2010 Junior World Championship , which this time was held in Dizin in Iran. He finished 11th in the Super-G and 19th in the Super Combined.
In the 2011 season, Tanaka took part in FIS races in Japan, in which he achieved a podium for the first time, in the World Championship and the Junior World Championship held at the same time in Goldingen , Switzerland. In the general class he crossed the finish line in all four competitions and achieved ninth place in slalom as the best result, while in the juniors he was twice tenth in slalom and combined and 23rd in super-G, but failed in giant slalom. In 2012 Tanaka only took part in FIS races in his home country.
