Nicole Knüsel (born January 17, 1996 ) is a Swiss grass skier . She is a member of the Swiss junior squad and made her first appearance in the World Cup and World Championships in 2011 .
Career
After numerous successes in the junior categories of the Swiss championships (including all four titles in the youth class in 2008 and 2009), the Swiss Cup and the FIS School Cup , Nicole Knüsel also took part in FIS and World Cup races from 2011 . She drove her first, and in the 2011 season, only World Cup race on the Marbachegg on June 5th . She finished this Super-G in sixth position. Due to only one World Cup start, she only came in 15th and last place in the overall World Cup. In August and September Knüsel took part in the 2011 World Championship and the Junior World Championship at the Atzmännig near Goldingen , which was held at the same time . Among the juniors, she achieved sixth place in the slalom as well as in the Super-G and thus fourth in the resulting combination. In the junior giant slalom she did not finish. In the general class she took part in the Super-G and the giant slalom, where she was eleventh. In the 2012 season Knüsel did not contest any competitions.
