Tatsuhiko Saiki ( Japanese 斎 木 達 彦 , Saiki Tatsuhiko ; born October 5, 1995 ) is a Japanese grass skier . He mainly drives FIS races in his home country and in 2011 he took part in a World Championship and a Junior World Championship for the first time. In World Cup races , which are mainly held in Europe, he has not started.

Career

Saiki first took part in FIS races in Japan in 2010 and made it onto the podium for the first time in July 2011. He made his first starts in Europe in August 2011 at the World Championship and the Junior World Championship at Atzmännig near Goldingen in Switzerland, which was also held at the same time . However, he only took part in one competition each in the juniors as well as in the general class. In the general class he finished penultimate in 34th place in the Super-G, while he reached eighth place in the giant slalom of the juniors. In 2012 Saiki started in addition to FIS races in Japan, in which he again achieved a podium place, in all competitions of the Junior World Championship 2012 in Burbach, Germany . He mostly finished in the lower midfield and achieved 15th place in slalom as the best result.
