Lukáš Ohrádka (born March 10, 1984 ) is a Slovak grass skier . He started the World Cup for the first time in 2007 and has taken part in two World Championships so far .

Career

Ohrádka started in 1999 in FIS races as well as national championships and student races in alpine skiing . In FIS races he was in the top 30 six times and at the Slovak Championships his best result was 23rd place (as the ninth best Slovak) in the slalom in 2000.

From 2007 Ohrádka also took part in international grass ski races. On August 11th, he competed in his first World Cup race in Čenkovice , but could not qualify for the second round in this giant slalom. His first and in the 2007 season only World Cup points he won on September 1st with 21st place in the super combined of Forni di Sopra . In the overall World Cup he came tied with Swiss Viktor Müller on rank 68. At the 2007 World Cup in Olešnice v Orlických horách , Ohrádka was mostly able to classify in the midfield. He finished 31st in the Super-G, 34th in the Super Combined and 35th in the giant slalom. Only in the slalom did he not finish. In the 2008 season, Ohrádka was three times in the top ten in FIS races and three times in the top 20 in World Cup races: he finished 17th in the Marbachegg slalom, 15th in the giant slalom in Čenkovice and seventh in the Super-G in Dizin - his seventh so far best World Cup result. In the overall World Cup he was able to improve to 20th place.

After a fall in a descent in Innerkrems in March 2009, Ohrádka has not competed in any alpine ski races. After he had not contested any grass ski races for the next two years, he started back in the 2011 Grass Ski World Cup. His best World Cup result this year was a tenth place in the Super Combined in San Sicario on August 13th. At the world championship held three weeks later in Goldingen , he reached eighth place in the slalom and 14th place in the super combined. In the giant slalom he was disqualified in the first run after a goal error and in the Super-G he did not start. In 2011, he finished 18th in the overall World Cup. In the 2012 season , Ohrádka only took part in the two World Cup races in Trieste and Předklášteří . In addition to a disqualification, he came three times just under the top 15, which he finished 45th in the overall World Cup.
