Patrick Quantity (born July 4, 1990 ) is a Swiss grass skier . He is a member of the Swiss Grasski national team and has competed in the World Cup since 2006 . His brother Philipp Menge was also a grass skier.

Career

Quantity drove his first FIS races in May 2006. By July, he was among the top 20 three times in seven races. He made his World Cup debut on August 26, 2006 in the slalom in Sattel , where he was 17th and 17th at the same time as Austrian Philipp Gschwandtner also took last place. This was his last race for the time being, because he did not take part in any competitions during the entire 2007 season. In May 2008, Menge drove into the top ten in the Giant Slalom in Altenseelbach for the first time in an FIS race. In the World Cup he was twice in the top 20 in the 2008 season and in the final rankings he finished 26th. At the Junior World Championships in 2008 he finished 17th in slalom, 21st in giant slalom and 22nd in Super-G.

In the 2009 World Cup season ,ume drove into the top 20 four times, with his best result being twelfth in the giant slalom in Marbachegg . With that he finished 22nd overall. At the Junior World Championships in 2009 he reached ninth place in the giant slalom. In the Super-G he was 14th and in the slalom as well as in the super combination 16 each. In the same year he also took part in a world championship in the general class for the first time. In Rettenbach , Austria , his best result was 21st place in the slalom. In the 2010 season, after two failures in the next five World Cup races, Quantity always achieved placings between 16th and 19th place. In the Faistenau slalom , however, he was disqualified and he no longer took part in the four final races in Italy. In the overall World Cup he fell back to 35th place. At the Junior World Championships 2010 in Dizin , he also had two cancellations in the super combination and in the slalom and then achieved 15th place in the super G and eleventh place in the giant slalom.

In the 2011 season Menges best World Cup result was 13th place in the Super-G of Marbachegg. With another five top 20 results, he finished 19th in the overall World Cup. At the 2011 World Championships in Goldingen , he surprisingly reached fourth place in the slalom. He was also 15th in the super combined and 21st in the giant slalom and in the super G. Volume presented itself with constant performance in the 2012 season . He finished in six World Cup races under the fastest 15 and in another five races under the best 20, plus in an FIS race on the podium, making him ninth in the overall World Cup.
