On July 6 of the same year he made his World Cup debut in Čenkovice . He finished second to last in this slalom in 20th place and thus won his first World Cup points, which brought him to 50th place in the overall standings for the 2008 season . In the further course of the year he only took part in races of the Czech Cup. The next two World Cup starts followed in July 2009 in Čenkovice. This time he was disqualified in the first slalom and could not qualify for the finals of the top 30 in the second, leaving him without World Cup points in the 2009 season . At the Junior World Championships 2009 in the Czech Horní Lhota u Ostravy , he achieved placements in the lower midfield, his best result was 16th in the giant slalom. In the summer of 2010, Václav Jerošek drove in several FIS races under the fastest 20. In his only World Cup race of the 2010 season , the slalom in Faistenau , he could not qualify for the second round, which is why he remained without World Cup points for the second year in a row. Only in the second World Cup race of the 2011 season , the super combination of Olešnice v Orlických horách on July 2, did he win World Cup points for the second time in his career and for the first time in three years, finishing 14th. His first top 10 result and so far best World Cup result he achieved on August 7, 2011 with sixth place in the slalom of Předklášteří . In 2011 he finished 22nd in the overall World Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Goldingen , Jerošek just missed the medal ranks twice as fourth in the slalom and the combination. He finished the Super-G and the giant slalom in twelfth position. At the world championship , which was held at the same time , he was 17th in the super combined and 28th in the giant slalom. He did not start in slalom or super-G.

In the 2012 season Jerošek drove in three FIS races and in two World Cup races in the top ten. In the World Cup, these were seventh in the Rettenbach slalom and eighth in the Předklášteří slalom . In the overall World Cup he improved to 17th place. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Burbach Jerošek mostly finished in the good midfield. His best result was sixth place in the slalom.
