Irina Ernst (born March 31, 1995 ) is a Swiss grass skier . She is six-time Swiss champion and has competed in the World Cup and World Championships since 2011 .

Career

After participating in races in the Swiss Cup and the Swiss championships for several years, Irina Ernst celebrated her first major national successes in 2010 when she became Swiss champion in slalom and super-G. The next year she won all four titles at the Swiss championships. Since the 2011 season , Ernst has also competed in international races. This year she took part in seven of the nine World Cup races in which she was able to score four times, but only as the last or penultimate. In the overall World Cup she finished 14th. In addition to the World Cup and two FIS races , Ernst also took part in the 2011 World Championship and the Junior World Championship at the Atzmännig near Goldingen , which was held at the same time . She started in the general class in the giant slalom as well as in the Super-G and finished eighth and twelve, while she took part in all the races of the junior women, but only crossed the finish line seventh in the Super-G.

In the 2012 season , Ernst started in several FIS races only in the World Cup giant slalom in Marbachegg, which she finished in ninth place. In the overall World Cup she was 18th. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Burbach , she achieved eighth place in slalom and super-G as well as ninth place in giant slalom and super-combined placements in midfield.
