David Ernst (born February 4, 1992 ) is a former Swiss grass skier . In the 2008 season he took part in World Cup and FIS races as well as in the Junior World Championship .

Career

After Ernst had taken part in national competitions such as the Swiss Cup and the Swiss Championships in previous years, he also competed in international races in Switzerland in 2008. In June he took part in three FIS races in Urnäsch , where his best result was a 13th place in the slalom. Then he started at the Junior World Championships in Rieden in 2008 , where he was 15th in the super combined, 31st in the giant slalom and 35th in the super-G. Only in the slalom was he disqualified after a goal error in the second run. Two weeks after the Junior World Championships, Ernst also took part in three World Cup races on the Marbachegg . As third from bottom, he achieved 17th place in giant slalom, 20th place in slalom and 22nd place in Super-G. He finished 37th in the overall World Cup for the 2008 season . After 2008, Ernst did not take part in any competitions.
