Following success in the youth field, Adéla Kettnerová has been competing in FIS and World Cup races since the 2011 season . She achieved the best World Cup result of the year with fourth place in the super combination of Olešnice v Orlických horách . In FIS races, fourth place in the Wilhelmsburg slalom was her best result. In the overall World Cup, she finished ninth in her first season. Kettnerová also took part in the 2011 Junior World Championship at the Atzmännig in Goldingen , where she won the silver medal in the giant slalom behind the Swiss Denise Blöchlinger . She was also fourth in slalom, fifth in combination and eleventh in super-G. She did not take part in races of the World Championship in the general class, which was also being held.
In the 2012 season , Kettnerová reached her first podium in a World Cup race with third place in the Super-G of San Sicario . Overall, however, she achieved fewer top 10 placements than in the previous year, which is why she fell one place to tenth in the overall World Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Burbach , Kettnerová was the most successful female participant. She won two gold medals in the Super-G and in the Super Combined, finished third in the slalom and narrowly missed another medal as fourth in the giant slalom.
