Song Jong-sun (born November 3, 1981 in Pyongyang ) is a football player from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea). She plays in her home country as a defender for the Amrokgang SG club
At the soccer world championships of women in 2003 , 2007 and 2011 she was represented as a regular player in the team. So far she has made a total of 86 appearances in the national jersey. Even when her team reached 9th place in the women's soccer competitions at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , she was part of the squad.
During the soccer world championship in Germany in 2011 she was tested positive for several anabolic steroids and after not opening the B sample she was banned from international gaming for 14 months.
