The Amnokgang Sports Club ( Chosŏn'gŭl : 압록강 체육 단 ; Hanja : 鴨綠江 體育 團 ) is a North Korean football club under the Ministry of Public Security , based in the state capital Pyongyang . The name of the sports group describes the Amnokgang river between North Korea and the People's Republic of China .
The association was founded on September 19, 1947. In 2001, 2006 and 2008 the team won the North Korean championship of the DPR Korea League .
