Pak Chol-jin (born September 5, 1985 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean football player .

Career

Pak appears internationally as a player in the Amrokgang sports group , the club of the Ministry of State Security.

The defensive player has been part of the North Korean national team since 2003 and made four appearances in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup . In 2005 and 2008 Pak was part of the squad in the final round of the East Asian Championship , in 2010 he failed with the team in the qualifying round. For the North Korean U-23 selection, he was several times in 2007 qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games on the field, but retired with the team in the last qualifying round.

In the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup , he made twelve appearances and remained in the defensive alliance with Cha Jong-hyok , Ri Jun-il , Pak Nam-chol and Ri Kwang-chon in eight of these twelve games without conceding.
