Ha'Atzma'ut

Ha'Atzma'ut (העצמאות, independence ) is a political party in Israel that was founded by Ehud Barak on January 17, 2011 when he left the Avoda with Matan Vilnai , Shalom Simchon , Orit Noked and Einat Wilf . The party was represented with five seats in the 18th Knesset . She wants to represent the political center as well as Zionist and democratic positions.

On November 26, 2012, Barak announced that he would end his political career and would no longer run for a seat in the Knesset in January 2013. The party did not participate in the Knesset elections in January 2013.
