HALIBA ( Hebrew הליב"ה: הַ מֵיזָם לְ חֹפֶשׁ יְ הוּדִי בְּ הַר הַ בַּיִת) is a project of the Israel Independence Fund , an Israeli-American Jewish organization, and the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation ( Hebrew הַקֶרֶן לְמוֹרֶשֶׁת הַר הַבַּיִת, German "Foundation for the Heritage of the Temple Mount").

HALIBA is an acronym for Ha-Mesam le-Chofesch jehudi be-Har ha-Bajit ("Project for Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount"). Chairman (2014) is Jehuda Glick ; Linda Olmert is the vice chairwoman. They demand unhindered access for Jews to the Jerusalem Temple Mount . Muslims fear that they will strive to rebuild the so-called Third Temple there.

In a statement to the Jerusalem Post , HALIBA named its mission to bring together Jewish Israelis who believe that preventing free access to the mountain for Jews who wish to pray there etc. is a violation of the rights of Jews around the world World represents.

HALIBA is also committed to protecting the Western Wall and the Temple Mount as monuments . She documented and filmed vandalism and illegal drilling work under the mountain.

HALIBA organizes political tourist tours on the Temple Mount. One of their groups was harassed by Palestinians.

HALIBA sued unsuccessfully against the body searches of Jewish visitors in front of the Mughrabi Bridge , which is currently the only access for non-Muslims.
