Haarhausen (Hilchenbach)

Haarhausen is a part of the Hilchenbach district of Allenbach .

Haarhausen is located in the northeastern part of Allenbach, south of Hilchenbach and west of Vormwald . The district is located on the Ferndorf .

history

Haarhausen was first mentioned on April 27, 1248. There, the City Council of Siegen announced the transfer of ownership by "Henricus dictus de Harhusen una cum beckina dic-ta Haczege" to the preachers in Koblenz. Other sources give the year 1417 as the time when a settlement was first recorded there. The name was "Bielchin van Horhusen". For the year 1467 it is handed down that Haarhausen belonged to the office and court Hilchenbach. At least until the time of the Reformation, Haarhausen was part of the Hilchenbach parish. Later the place belonged to the Keppel office as an independent municipality . In the 19th century there was a toll or customs office in Haarhausen. On August 1, 1930, Haarhausen was incorporated into Allenbach.
