St. Hathumar (first bishop of Paderborn, † August 9, 815)
St. Hathumar was the first bishop of Paderborn from 805 / 6-815. He came from the Saxon nobility. As a bargaining chip he came to Charlemagne, was brought up in Würzburg as a Christian and later he was canon there. After founding the diocese of Paderborn in 799, he became bishop of Paderborn in 805/6 .
