The port of Saint John’s is a seaport in the Caribbean Sea . It is the most important port for imports and exports in the island republic of Antigua and Barbuda . Saint John's is the main port on the island of Antigua .
The export products sugar, rum and cotton are shipped via the port. International cruise ships call at the cruise terminal. Well known is the St. John's Antigua Light , a lighthouse in the city harbor. At the entrance to the port is the ruined fortress Fort James (1703).
