Hafenstrasse 9/10, Speicher II (Stralsund)
The building with the postal address Hafenstraße 9/10 is a listed building in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund on Hafenstraße . The building, known as Speicher II , belongs to the ensemble of granaries on the harbor island and thus shapes the silhouette of the city.
The five-storey brick building was built between 1888 and 1889, making it the oldest warehouse on the harbor island.
The facade facing Hafenstrasse has segment-arched door and window openings. The two outer axles are as with battlements crowned risalits formed.
The house is located on the outskirts of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 849.
