The Haixun 01 is a Chinese patrol boat .

The boat was taken over by the Chinese Maritime Authority (CMSA) in April 2013. Compared to the other ships in the CMSA fleet, it is suitable for missions outside of coastal waters and is used there. China has ordered the construction of four identical ships.

The ship was launched on July 28, 2012 and was handed over to the China Maritime Safety Administration at the end of April 2013 .

Calls

In March 2014, the Haixun 01 took part in the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 off the west coast of Australia .
