Hal Anger

Hal Oscar Anger (born May 20, 1920 in Denver , Colorado, USA; † October 31, 2005 in Berkeley , California) was an electrical engineer and biophysicist at the Donner Laborator at the University of California, Berkeley . In 1957 he invented the gamma camera , which is also called the Anger camera after him. Anger held a total of 15 patents, many of them for his work at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory .
