Half Moon Pond is one of the lagoons on the north coast of St. Kitts in the Parish of Saint Peter Basseterre in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The lagoon is located at the transition from Conaree Bay to Half Moon Bay , southeast of Conaree . The Half Moon Point moves on a narrow isthmus between the Half Moon Pond and the Half Moon Bay to the north into the sea. The Half Moon Pond was heavily modified by humans (gravel mining?).
