Halina Dyrschka

Halina Dyrschka (born October 26, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German film director , screenwriter and film producer .

life and work

Halina Dyrschka studied acting at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum as well as classical singing and film production. The short film Neuneinhalbs Abschied (2009) was her directorial debut. She founded the production company Ambrosia Film , where she produced her films Neuneinhalbs Abschied (2009) and Opera Buffa (2011), among others . She researched Hilma af Klint for five years and produced her first film about the pioneer of abstraction. Her documentary debut Beyond the Visible - Hilma af Klint premiered at the Leipzig Film Art Fair in 2019 and was awarded the Audience Award.
