European Indoor Hockey Championships 2018

The 2018 European indoor hockey championship was the 19th edition of the women's indoor hockey championship . It took place in Prague from January 19th to 21st , eight teams took part. The winner was the German national team , which was able to defeat last year's winner, the representation of the Netherlands in the penalty shootout with 2-1 in the final ; after the end of regular time it was 1: 1.

Relegation round

The teams that finished third or fourth in the preliminary round were divided into Group C. They took the result (goals, points) from the preliminary round, which they achieved against the opponent who was also divided. They played the two games against the other two group members.

The last two were relegated to the "B-EM 2020".
