The Haller Rocks are a group of reef rocks in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are 3 km northwest of the southwest end of Liège Island in the eastern part of Bouquet Bay .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1956 to 1957 were used for their mapping in 1959. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1960 after the Swiss physician Albrecht von Haller (1708–1777), who made important contributions to the understanding of physiological processes (e.g. the function of heart rate and bile ).
