The bouquet Bay ( French Baie Bouquet de la Grye ) is a 12 km wide bay between the Brabant Island and Liège Iceland in the Palmer Archipelago before the Davis Coast in the northwest of the Antarctic Peninsula is located.
It was discovered during the Antarctic expedition, which lasted from 1903 to 1905, under the direction of the French polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot , who named it after Jean Bouquet de la Grye (1827-1909), a French hydrographer . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated Charcot's designation into English on January 28, 1953, which was confirmed in 1960 by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names .
