The Paré Glacier is a 11 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier in the northeast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows first eastward, then northeast into the head end of Bouquet Bay .
The glacier appears nameless on Argentine maps from 1953. It was photographed between 1956 and 1957 by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. These aerial photographs were used for mapping in 1959. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier in 1960 after the French surgeon Ambroise Paré (1510–1590), who taught hygienic wound treatments and improved surgical techniques for treating bone fractures.
