The Halsknappane ( Norwegian for neck buttons ) are a group of low and rocky hills in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the eastern part of the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains they rise up immediately west of the Skorvehalsen saddle .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
