Hamburg education server
The Hamburg Education Server is the official state education server of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg , is operated by the Hamburg Authority for Schools and Vocational Education and Training (BSB) and is defined as the central educational Internet platform in the Hamburg educational landscape. The server was initially looked after in terms of hardware by the computer center of the University of Hamburg , later moved to the computer center with the central domain hamburg.de. The responsible operator of this portal is the department for public relations of the authority for schools and vocational training.
The Hamburger Bildungsserver (HBS) is an offer for teachers and learners and covers the range from pre-school and high school to university and adult education . Visitors can find current teaching materials, link lists, copy templates for teaching and exam preparation materials here. The Hamburg education server covers all subjects. In addition, there are thematically prepared collections of material on various optional topics. For all school subjects, teaching materials are offered with a focus on final exams. In addition, information is provided about school work in Hamburg, Germany and Europe, about current projects, competitions, extracurricular learning locations, school trips and publications by the Hamburg authorities. The focus is on global learning, career orientation, media education, social, legal and traffic education, intercultural education as well as health, environmental and sex education. As an introduction to the research, dossiers and specials on current topics in all subjects are offered with a focus on politics, science, economics and current events, holidays and seasons. The main topics are, for example, addiction and violence prevention, climate change and climate impacts as well as globalization.
