Career

At the FIS races in July 2009, Saveh Shemshaki finished 14th in the Super-G, but did not reach the finish in the slalom and giant slalom. A month later he took part again in the World Cup races in Dizin, where he won his first World Cup points with 26th place in the Super-G, but was eliminated in the giant slalom as in the previous year. In the overall ranking of the 2009 season , Saveh Shemshaki came tied with the Japanese Tetsuya Yashima in 61st place. In the 2010 season , he only started in the FIS and World Cup races in Dizin. While he was unsuccessful in the FIS races, he achieved 22nd place in the World Cup Super G and thus his best World Cup result so far. In the giant slalom, however, he was disqualified. In the overall World Cup he was able to improve to 55th place, but again only achieved one place in the bottom field. In 2011 and 2012, Saveh Shemshaki did not take part in any competitions.
