Hamid Ali-Doosti ( listen ? / I PersianAudio file / audio sample حمید علیدوستی; * January 1, 1956 ) is a former Iranian soccer player and current coach.

The striker played a total of 30 games for FSV Salmrohr in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1986/87 season , scoring 10 goals.

He played for the majority of his career for the Iranian club Homa FC and was 28 times for the Iranian national soccer team, with 14 goals.

As a trainer, he supervised a. Homa FC and Paykan FC (2000–2002) and the Iranian U20 national team (2003–2004). Today Ali-Doosti works as coach of Sorkhpooshan FC in the 1st Iranian League.

Private

His daughter Taraneh is a well-known actress, his son Pouyan died in March 2005 at the age of 16 at the annual Persian fire festival Chaharshanbe Suri .
