Hamid Merakchi ( Arabic حميد مراكشي; * January 28, 1976 in Ain Temouchent ) is a former Algerian soccer player . He completed four games for the Algerian national team .

Merakchi started his career at ES Mostaganem in Algeria and moved to Turkey in 1998. In 2000 he returned to Algeria and from then on played for various clubs. In the national team he made his debut on October 2, 1998 in an Africa Cup qualifier against Uganda (1: 2). The following year he scored his first two goals for the national team in a game against Liberia . His last appearance was on June 20 in the second leg against Uganda, where he also scored two goals.
