The Hamon Group is a Belgian plant manufacturer that mainly builds recooling and dedusting systems for power plants.

Products

The products include natural draft cooling towers , cell coolers , hybrid cooling towers as well as electrostatic precipitators , fabric filters , hybrid filters and multi-cyclones . The subsidiary Hamon D'Hondt builds air-cooled heat exchangers , Hamon Deltak builds waste heat steam generators for the American market.

In Germany, for example, the Hamon Group built the hybrid cooling tower for the Moorburg coal-fired power station .

history

In 1960 Hamon licensed its cooling towers to Research-Cottrell , which goes back to Frederick Gardner Cottrell . They built 60% of the cooling towers in the USA over the next 23 years. In 1985, Spiro-Gills and Ateliers François d'Hondt , two manufacturers of heat exchangers and air coolers for the oil industry, were taken over. In 1997 the former family company went public. In 1998 Hamon took over Research-Cottrell .
