Hampton Ridge is a 16 km long ridge in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain, it extends north from Pagoda Peak between the Montgomerie Glacier and the Mackellar Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Major William C. Hampton, commander of a unit in the United States Air Force , which had supported the Texas Tech Shackleton Glacier Expedition (1964-1965).
