Mosesson made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup on November 23, 1998 in Tandådalen . At the Junior World Championships in 1999 on the Alpe di Siusi , he won gold in the halfpipe. In January 2000, in Tandådalen, he finished ninth and made it into the top ten in the World Cup for the first time. At the Junior World Championships 2000 in Berchtesgaden , however, he did not get beyond a 21st place. He finished the 1999/00 season in 111th place in the overall World Cup ranking. He finished 38th in the halfpipe rankings. After the season it was quiet for Mosesson. He did not start in the World Cup.
In 2005 he won the Air & Style contests. In the same year he was named Rookie of the Year in the USA . The last two official FIS competitions he contested again in 2006 with an FIS race and a World Cup in Stockholm in the Big Air discipline . After he was able to win points again, he finished 89th in the Big Air World Cup overall ranking at the end of the 2006/07 season . Since 2007 Mosesson has appeared several times as a snowboarder in various film and stunt productions.
Hampus Mosesson's uncle is the Swedish actor Hans Mosesson .
