Handball Bad Salzuflen is a handball community from Bad Salzuflen in the Lippe district . The women's first team played in the 3rd division from 2010 to 2017 .

history

The syndicate was established on March 6, 2013 and was formed by the clubs TuS Ehrsen , TG Schötmar and TuS Knetterheide . The last two clubs mentioned previously formed the SG Knetterheide-Schötmar .

Under the name of SG Knetterheide-Schötmar , the first women's team became champions of the Oberliga Westfalen in 2004 and rose to the third-class regional league . Fifth in the 2009/10 season, the team qualified for the newly created 3rd division. There the team secured itself in the 2012/13 season only through the better direct comparison against the second team of the Thuringian HC . A year later , the class was achieved through a better direct comparison with the MTV Rohrsen and the TSV Hahlen . In 2017 , the women's team was relegated to the Oberliga Westfalen and was passed through to the Association League a year later. In 2019 he was promoted to the league again.

The first men's team rose to the state league in 2018.
