The Hanke Brothers are a chamber music ensemble that moves between the classical and pop genres .

Members are the four brothers David Hanke, Lukas Hanke, Jonathan Hanke and Fabian Hanke , who come from Sindelfingen . You come from a musical family, father Matthias Hanke is regional church music director, mother Theresia is a professional violinist.

Career

  • 2014 first CD recording by the Hanke family ( Matthias , Theresia, David, Lukas, Jonathan and Fabian) together with the cellist and university professor Gerhart Darmstadt
  • 2015 Sindelfingen Biennale, first appearance as "Hanke & friends"
  • 2016 "HANKE IN CONCERT" in the Martinskirche Sindelfingen, world premiere of "4 # David" by Jonathan Hanke for recorder and piano
  • 2016 “Pinocchio and the Flute Player” premiere, musical children's fairy tale in a new version for the Hanke family by the Graz composer Viktor Fortin
  • 2016 First Colorful Concerts (anniversary concert, Stadtkirche Backnang, Gedächtniskirche Stuttgart)
  • 2017 Sindelfingen Biennale: Hanke Brothers - Moonlight Serenade (first appearance under the name "Hanke Brothers")

Other special appearances by the Hanke Brothers took place e.g. B. at galas such as "10 years MSOE Grohmann Museum Milwaukee" and the Vienna Red Cross Ball.

Aleksey Igudesman composed the full-length work Seven Continents exclusively for the Hanke Brothers . Here he tries to convey each continent , especially emotionally.
